About

Born and raised in Aurora, Colorado, Sabrina Patten made her stage debut at two and half years old when she portrayed the coveted role of “Child Clown” in Barnum. Singing in local choirs, and performing in regional theatres across the Denver area with her family of performers, Sabrina continuously pursued her performing passions. This led her to the University of Northern Colorado where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre and her BA in Political Science and English. Throughout her four years of college, Sabrina performed in more than a dozen regional productions with notable roles including Kathryn Merteuil in Cruel Intentions, Jane Doe in Ride the Cyclone, Johanna Barker in Sweeney Todd, Cinderella in Cinderella, and Elsa in Frozen. Sabrina is also a dedicated children’s character performer with over 6 years of experience bringing magic to children's events throughout the Denver area.

A dedicated musician as well as actor, Sabrina has also briefly dabbled in light opera (performing principle roles in both The Pirates of Penzance and Princess Ida), group performance (as a Soprano soloist with the Original Dickens Carolers), and choral performance (with several local choirs and show choirs). Patten is also a children’s music and theatre educator with 5 years of experience as a director, choreographer, and music director for student productions in the Denver area.

When not occupied with her numerous performances and educational pursuits, Sabrina is an accomplished seamstress and fiber artist, avid reader, and lover of everything nerdy! You can probably find her curled up reading at a local library, embroidering a costume for a local convention, or spending endless hours in a museum of any kind! Sabrina is grateful for all of the family and friends who have encouraged her constant pursuit of the arts!
